MORTIS CRUENTUS

Mortis Cruentus son una banda Alicantina de Black/Death Metal con más de 15 años de historia. En activo desde 2003, su trayectoria es sin duda una de las más largas entre los grupos del mismo estilo en la zona.

Tras la grabación de su primera demo en 2007 lanzan su primer LP, "Agony as Doom", en el año 2009, dedicándose posteriormente a presentarlo en directo por distintas salas y festivales del país, compartiendo escenario con bandas como Sacred Steel, Legion of the Damned, Napalm Death, Stormlord, Christ Agony, Finsterforst y muchas más. Posteriormente, deciden entrar nuevamente en estudio para grabar un E.P., "Winter Holocaust", en el año 2013.

Tras superar distintos cambios en la formación y muchos otros obstáculos, contactan con Jabo (ex-Nethertale) para grabar las voces y crear todas las letras para el nuevo álbum. Sergio (Bajo en Yuugen) será el encargado de grabar el bajo. Así, después de un largo periodo de pre-producción, vuelven a entrar en el estudio de grabación para plasmar en su segundo larga duración diez nuevas canciones. Bajo el título de "Hellthrone", está disponible desde el 1 de Noviembre de 2017. "Hellthrone" se grabó en los Domer-on studios (Alicante), producido por Hector Domenech y Mortis Cruentus.

En estos momentos, la formación se ha consolidado con Dani (batería) y Toño Raymundo (guitarras), a los que se unieron Samgraz (voz), Savage Jouretz (guitarras) y la última incorporación, Khüll (bajo). El círculo se ha cerrado y la banda se encuentra componiendo lo que será su tercer album y continuación de la saga "Hellthrone".

Mortis Cruentus are a Black/Death metal band from Alicante (Spain). They have been active since 2003, with one of the longest careers among all metal bands from their area.

In 2007, their first demo was recorded, and in 2009 the band released their first LP, "Agony as Doom", touring and making live shows around their country in the following years, sharing stage with bands like Napalm Death, Sacred Steel or Legion of the Damned. Also, the band made an EP called "Winter Holocaust" in 2013.

After a long period of silence, having overcome a lot of obstacles, they contacted Jabo (ex-"Nethertale") to write the lyrics and take command of the vocals lines, in the recording of the new studio album. Likewise, the bassist Sergio Pastor (Bass on the Spanish metal band "Yuugen") recorded the bass. The band recorded 10 new demonic songs. The brand new second LP was released, under the name of "Hellthrone", in digital and physical platforms 1st November 2017. "Hellthrone" was recorded on Domer-on studios (Spain), produced by Hector Domenech and Mortis Cruentus, between March and February of 2017.

At the moment, their consolidated formation are Dani (drums) and Toño Raymundo (guitars), to which they have been joined Samgraz (voice), Savage Jouretz (guitars) and the last incorporation, Khüll (bass). Now, the circle has been closed and the band is composing what will be their third LP album, which will be the extension of the "Hellthrone" saga.
